You must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Person - a natural person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to participate in this course.
Upon arrival, you will be shown to your room and given a tour of the lodge, restaurant and bar. You will have time to unwind or take advantage of the sporting clays course and make sure you are warmed up for when the hunting starts.
Everyone will meet that evening for a chef-prepared meal and beverages of your choice from the bar.
You will experience two nights lodging and one and a half days of hunting (two morning hunts and an afternoon hunt) behind some very well-trained pointers and flushing labs. You can bring your favorite shotgun or use one provided by the lodge. During your down time, you can choose to relax in the lodge or go for another round of sporting clays and 5 stand.
Fly into Omaha, Nebraska, where the outfitter will pick you up and transfer you back to the lodge (a one-hour drive).
Overlooking the southern exposure of the Loess Hills, the Ben Schoonover Lodge, in Tekamah, Nebraska, features three stories with 15 rooms: 12 rooms featuring two queen beds, and three rooms featuring one king bed. Rooms measure 400 square feet and have private baths. Each floor of the lodge has a lounge area, providing hunting groups privacy. A freestanding fireplace extends through all three floors, and we are excited to have a full commercial kitchen, bar, dining room, pool tables, conference rooms, balconies and outdoor seating.
